Marquette
Astronomical Society

The
Marquette Astronomical Society is a group of amateur astronomers
who gather to share experiences and knowledge with others who have
a curiosity about observing and understanding the sky.
Meetings
are held at 7:30 pm every other month on the first Friday of that
month. Meetings are held at the Shiras Planetarium as it affords
for the best presentation of the current sky and recent astrophotography
ventures. The Club also has an observatory with several telescopes,
so new and old members alike can try out different aspects of different
telescopes.
Anyone
is welcome and more information can be obtained about membership
