Marquette Astronomical Society

The Marquette Astronomical Society is a group of amateur astronomers who gather to share experiences and knowledge with others who have a curiosity about observing and understanding the sky.

Meetings are held at 7:30 pm every other month on the first Friday of that month. Meetings are held at the Shiras Planetarium as it affords for the best presentation of the current sky and recent astrophotography ventures. The Club also has an observatory with several telescopes, so new and old members alike can try out different aspects of different telescopes.

Anyone is welcome and more information can be obtained about membership upon a person's first meeting. Questions can be sent to Mike Beacco: mikelbe@aol.com
